T.L.C. Isn't cutting trees OK because the company that destroyed the forest comes back and plant new trees?

Big D Let me share an analogy with you and you see if it works for you. Imagine for a moment that your entire community and your entire family were simply wiped out. Your father, your mother, your brothers, your sisters, your aunts, uncles, cousins and all your friend and neighbors are all suddenly dead, their houses, their business, their gardes, were simply destroyed without warning and without probocation. You stand by and watch the murders drive away in thier massive bulldozer leaving only death and rubble in their wake.

Now you go out and have indiscriminate sex for a few day and plant some seeds in the wombs of a few women. Do your acts of indiscriminate sex replace your family and your community?

T.L.C. Of course not!

Big D And why not?

T.L.C. Becaues there is a vast difference between sperm cells and an entire intimate and funcioning community of family and friends.

Big D Then perhaps it's time to get real about the fairytale which says that a few seedling randomly stuck in the ground can replace an entire fully-functional and fully-functioning ecosystem.

In some forests, the trees are a thousand yers old. Would you like to hear what the trees would say if they could speak in human language?

T.L.C. You mean just a few thousand feet above the Earth's surface?

Big D That's where birds fly, isn't it?

T.L.C. So this whole religious thing is about money? To a certain degree, everything is. Money is survival. Money is another name for goods and services. Money is another way of saying food, clothing, shelter. Beyond that, money is another word for all the pleasantries of life that money can buy.

John 6:48 "I am the bread of life."

Matthew 26:27 "As they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed [it] and broke [it] and gave [it] to the disciples and said, Take, eat, his is my body."

Matthew 26:27 "And took he the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, drink ye all of it."

Matthew 26:27 "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

You might note the language used in Matthew 27:50 describing the moment of Jesus' death: "Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yeilded up the ghost."

T.L.C. Big D, tell me, where is heaven? 1:20

Big D According to Genesis 1:20 in the Christian Bible, it's in the Firmament above the clouds where birds fly.

T.L.C. You mean just a few thousand feet above the Earth's surface?

Big D That's where birds fly, isn't it?

T.L.C. Yes.

Big D Then that's where heaven is. Here's the Bible; read it for yourself. It's in Genesis 1:20

I just held the book, unopened.

T.L.C. So the last time I was on an airplane, I was in heaven?

Big D According to the Bible in your hand, yup.

T.L.C. It didn't feel like heaven.

Big D Unless, perhaps you went up there to enter the mile-high club.

T.L.C. What does sex have to do with this? Is getting laid at an elevation above 5,280 feet any better than at ground level?

Big D Perhaps you should interview the astronauts and ask them. Jesus was conceived in heaven and look what it did for him.

T.L.C. Bid D, you know damned well that Jesus' mastery was a matter of paternity not elevation. I want to know where is heaven now?

Big D Last time I checked, it was in the hearts, minds, and souls of those who understood how the universe functions.

T.L.C. Let me ask this again. Where is Christian Heaven?

Big D Where ever the Christians say it is.

T.L.C. You're talking Universal Spirituality principles. What I'm asking is: Where is fundamentalist-Christian Heaven?

Big D Where ever the fundamentalist Christians say it is.

T.L.C. They don't ever mention where it is.

Big D You mean they've lost heaven, too?

T.L.C. Come on, Big D, stop smart-assing me and answer the question.

Big D There isn't any answer except to say that fundamentalist Christian heaven is wherever they say it is. The Fundamentalist Christians claim that the Bible is the literal word of God, so heaven must be in the Firmament above the clouds where birds fly.

T.L.C. That doesn't make any sense.

Big D So what's new?

T.L.C. I give up. let me ask a different question. Was Jesus a virgin all his life?

Big D Rabbi's of his era traditionally were not celibate. But whether or not Jesus was a virgin is irrelevant. For Christian theology to work, he had to be.

T.L.C. Why?

Big D Because succession in those days was a function of family inheritance, just like British royalty is today. Keeping Jesus a virgin derailed the question of authority and lineage. With genealogical succession neatly out of the way, apostolic succession was not open to question. Early church leaders simply declared that authority was handed down from one church elder to the next and that lineage started with the apostles.

T.L.C. But they couldn't keep Jesus a virgin if he wasn't.

Big D No, but they could alter and/or destroy records and murder any possible heirs and then simply claim ownership of Jesus' legacy.

T.L.C. Did they do that?

Big D Historically, there's no way to clearly tell what they did or didn't do because there are no records of any kind discussing this issue. The best we can do, at this time and with no records, is to ask: "Would they do anything like that?" and then make an evaluation of the likelihood that they did or didn't. Perhaps the story of the library of Alexandria will give you a hint.***Link

Big D If they can truthfully answer yes to all the following questions, then they shouldn’t look elsewhere or change their ways. Ask them if their beliefs are working for them. Invite them to ask and answer these questions:

Are you're independently wealth?

Is you're home-life profoundly joyous?

Is your sex life completely fulfilling?

Is your career phenomenal? Is it something you'd want to do
even if you didn't get paid?

Do you have several very close and completely trustworthy friends?

Are you in perfect health?

Let me share a ridiculous metaphor with you to illustrate a point.

Big D What would you think if someone in 1927 had declared the 1908 to 1927, Model T Ford to be the ultimate and one and only true automobile? Suppose they declared Henry Ford to be the Saint of Transportation. Suppose that they declared that changing this model car, which had been the standard since 1908, was blasphemy -- that every other mode of transportation was a sin against God. Suppose they declared that riding in any other car was a temptation of the devil, and doing so could cause riders to burn in hell forever. Suppose they started plugging that story into the minds of innocent, defenseless little children before their minds were mature enough to question the story. Would you send your kid over to be indoctrinated or would you say, "Wait a minute, something is not right here." Well, peddling murder as an act of love is just about as sensible as declaring Henry Ford to be the saint or automobiles.

This quote refers to consciously bringing in the rules of creation into the intended manifestation.

Group consciousness is simply the thoughts of all the individuals in the group thrown into a pot mixed together and poured out into a collective physical experience. Each person adds to the input and each person receives back a portion of the outcome.

Every individual activates the universe to bring into physical reality a reflection of his/her dominant thoughts. When two people focus on the same intention, or on compatible intentions the power of the universe is magnified by about the square of the number of participants. For example, two people working together have four times the power of each person working alone. Three people working together have nine times the power of each person working alone.

When the group (two or more) consciously brings in the rules of creation into the intended manifestation, the power is significantly enhanced even further.
